Our focus is to promote a program that meets the cognitive, social, emotional and physical needs of each child. The Child’s Garden is proud to offer a home like environment, with low student to teacher ratios, where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. We are committed to supporting the families we serve by meeting their goals for care and education. Our goal is to offer a safe, developmentally appropriate environment, where children can blossom and develop in a supportive and loving atmosphere.

In order to achieve this purpose, members of the faculty will relate to the child in loving, accepting ways, and will focus on boosting each child’s self-esteem and self-worth. Our faculty will encourage each child to work at his/her own pace in an atmosphere that does not place inordinate pressure on children to achieve. Our school deliberately has a low pupil to teacher ratio. Teachers will work to include each child in group activities and will work with individual children to enable them to participate in groups and to relate effectively with other children. We believe that each child is a unique individual with special talents and abilities and should be treated as such. We see all children as worthy individuals capable of success and we strive to instill in all children a positive self-image and confidence in their own abilities.
